I've never heard of the name "Iwona" until now
I changed my legal name as I transitioned my gender while an undergrad, but the middle name was an afterthought that's now on my degree.
I think I'll be soul searching while I'm in the big city for law school looking for the right middle name. Having a different name on each degree feels poetic.

And I won't be able to get a ride that early in the morning, so I'll have to use a half-charged electric kick scooter to get to work (the charger for it couldn't ship here in time). 💀

Store-bought apple pie tends to be bad: it's the disturbing half-crunchy, half-squishy texture of half-baked apple slices and that bland pie crust they tend to use.

The whole "Dubai chocolate" trend is a PR stunt by their government to clean up their image as a state that builds tacky gimmicky infrastructure they can't afford nor maintain through the use of rampant slave labor, FUNDING THE GENOCIDE IN SUDAN, and they don't even grow pistachios there.

I'm going to take a moment to say how funny and wonderful it is that Robert Reich is singlehandedly doing what Gravel Institute tried and failed miserably to do
I was just thinking today about how opinions come off a lot more assertive and confident in a tweet format because qualitative phrases like "I think" and "what if" must be curtailed to meet character count requirements, and this has probably had a subtle but pervasive deleterious effect on discourse
Having to remind myself that some positions, no matter how strongly they're being asserted, can just be irrational beliefs backed by emotional responses.

I wouldn't go so far as to call real person "fanfic" borderline stalker behavior, but I do think it is unethical, as much as I can't stop it. But I can choose to steer far clear of industries that encourage it for profit, like the record industry, which I already hated.
