Print of my illustration of the knight Aethelflaed raising her sword. She has blonde hair in a braid, light blue eyes and a resolute but a bit frightful expression. Around her the words "to be fearless is to be foolish" and "to be wise is to confront fear" in a wavy parchment that interlinks with the image and the frame. This is a commission work. The character belongs to Asa Wheatley and Sammy Ward's comic "Of Ichor and Bones".

Gabe Soria here, writer of the creator-owned comic MegaGhost (Dark Horse, Jimmy Olsen’s SuperCyclopedia (DC), and Bright Family (Epic) among MANY other things. Also wrote a few Batman ‘66 tales for DC, including one where I got to feature Eartha Kitt’s Catwoman in a Mad Men tribute/parody.
