You know it wasn’t a unanimous decision, right? There was a spirited dissent (28 pages) that focused on different facts and had a much different reading of the legal standards at play.
For example, the dissent called into question how the speech in question was compelled. Or non-targeted.

For as much as Ari Cohn loves to call himself an ally, he fundamentally does not understand how language or respect works, especially within queer circles, and cannot comprehend any similarity between misgendering somebody and refusing to use their given name.
I genuinely don't understand why you think saying someone's name conveys a message beyond "this is your name." If someone wants to try arguing your position, that's a choice. But just doesn't work like that.
