My late FIL was head of the Boston Watch and Ward Society from 1948 to 1967. The name changed to New England Citizens Crime Commission 1950. He had a huge collection of books obtained from the Harvard Divinity School. He was very liberal, and one of the first white families to move to South End.

DOJ prosecutors in Virginia under Erik Seibert didn't believe they gathered enough evidence to charge Letitia James.

So Trump pressured Seibert to resign and replaced him with a loyalist (and former personal attorney) who would.

Even Nixon made efforts to hide his corruption.
