Blaming Biden for every damn thing has gotten really old.

Trump swore he’d fix everything on “day one,” and his voters swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.

Folks are finally waking up to the scam. And this poll is not just Democrats.

Sad. For him, and our county.

USPS is a service, not a business. It will never make money as long as it cost so little for a stamp, and it is responsible for delivering mail to all the rural areas of the US (and outside the Continental US). This is why privatization of necessary services is bad.

My colleague @ceodonovan.bsky.social and I wrote about this problem in Bemidji a couple years back!
A rural post office was told to prioritize Amazon packages. Chaos ensued.
Amazon has increasingly come to rely on postal carriers to make “last-mile” deliveries in harder-to-reach rural locations.

The United States Postal Service was never supposed to be a profitable venture.

USPS like ALL other public works is a govt service to the public, where People can receive letters regardless of the individual's capacity to pay for receiving it.

The United States Postal SERVICE, is, unsurprisingly, a service and necessarily has a cost. Framing the cost as *a loss* is disingenuous.

USPS is required by law to try to break even. It generally doesn’t take taxpayer dollars to fund operations.

That’s what makes this a monumental gamble from Steiner.

Amazon is USPS’s largest client — by far. And he’s letting them walk out the door, and even become a top competitor.

This was not Amazon’s preferred plan, I’m told.

Talks broke down with USPS over its plan to auction off last-mile delivery contracts rather than ink an extension with Amazon.

It’s a very aggressive move from the new postmaster general, Davis Steiner.

We scooped on his hiring back in May.

🚨SCOOP: Amazon is preparing to sever ties with USPS and expand its shipping network as a true coast-to-coast rival.

It could cost USPS more than *$6 billion* a year in lost revenue, and lead Amazon to dominate yet another facet of the economy.

USPS posted a *$9 billion* loss in 2025.

I don't like all these mergers. There are literally antitrust laws that are supposed to prevent crap like this.
Still, I trust Netflix with WB's content a whole lot more than Skydance.

That's probably wise - considering I'm not sure Nefflix has paid sufficient tribute and fealty to the God-Emperor to secure a clear glide path over the regulatory hurdles. A point which Paramount, in that linked story, dropped with all the subtlety of a hot cross Klingon.

The bottom 90% lost a collective $79 trillion in wages over the past 50 years.

Why? Because the top 1% ate up an increasingly larger share of the national income — so that $79 trillion flowed to them instead of the working class.

The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.

Yet Trump is asking his MAGA Justices to re-write the rules for him so he can pick loyalists.

He says he should be able to fire anyone, anytime, for any reason.

If they let him, there’s no going back.
