I hate it when when people do things in a different way than everyone else, and then are called "cringe" or "weird". I’ve come up with a new motto for that now for those naysayers: "you lack whimsy".

I think my greatest achievement has been to have my Mom read my book in 3 days, and B) have her stay up so late she fell asleep reading my book!! She couldn’t put it down!!

I read The Bakery Dragon by Devin Elle Kurtz recently, and I loved it! I read it twice in one sitting, to really soak in the story and illustrations. What a delightful book! Highly recommend :)

I’ve been pretty quiet about Book 2 online, and that’s because I used up all my late summer energy to work as fast as possible on my first draft. Just dump it all on there. And I’ve been enjoying the start of autumn very much :)
