I'm sure it's a tough choice to not go to EVO but it's a meaningful one if you are tried of the increasingly corporate, esports focused events we see now. This is an investment for them and it has to pay off, and it can't if no one's buying.

Simple, because tech back then didn't feel exploitive like today's. They weren't any ads or AI, you own what you bought, everything had its own style and personality, things just *worked* immediately.
