back to my dante notes, statius is a poet they meet after he has just finished purifying all of his predilections on the terrace of prodigality (he makes a dramatic entrance bc him being ready to go to paradise causes an earthquake) which ive always tied to this bc its fun1

Mari, I'm already currently crashing out bc at that workshop I also spoke of Gertrude Stein's “As A Wife Has A Cow” (1926) as a euphemism like “the tiniest death” or ‘la petite mort’ in conjunction to Taylor's rainbow cow ceramic and today Charli pranked Rachel Sennott about a cow sex scene for them
