So, we all know that the second recording block of Shada was cancelled due to strike action - but the sets were planned out in full... What would it have looked like? Wonder no more!

Sometimes, in a quiet moment, I'll reflect on life's big questions.

"What's the story behind Meryl Streep's version of The Day Before You Came on the Mamma Mia 2 soundtrack?" I'll wonder. "Was it ever meant to be in the film itself?"

If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!
A reminder that the median book deal for a debut author in the UK is £7000, paid over 12-18 months. (from 2022 Society of Authors report). Some of your favourite writers are struggling. societyofauthors.org/2022/12/06/a....

@dirtyfeed.org Something I've wondered for a while (by which I mean about 30 years) - any idea why the early(ish) Fawlty Towers VHS releases collect the episodes as they do? I'd assumed so each could be named after a famous ep but not sure that tracks. To even out the running time?

Here's a new one... Which is the #AgathaChristie you've read the MOST? Not your favourite necessarily, but the one you reckon you've picked up the most times. Gray's, unsurprisingly, is a 60s one - #TheMirrorCrackdfromSidetoSide! What's yours?

Ooh good question.

I think probably Hallowe'en Party!

Second place between And Then There Were None and Endless Night, I think.

'The Coming of Mr Quin' is probably the short story I've read the most. Followed by 'The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding' and 'The Man from the Sea'.

Just had a random memory of the time that the actor playing Andy McDonald's girlfriend Amy in #Corrie left the show urgently and was replaced by Mel B in dim lighting for one brief, final scene (no, seriously)

There's no point saying "even if you don't like football..." (or whatever). The "even if" is just an indication of your incredulity at such a position. If you don't care you don't care.
