I feel like I'm writing out the ABCs here. It's all obvious, extremely well explored by a host of scholars in the wake of WWII.

But US elites are intellectually crippled by American exceptionalism & so cannot accept that it just is what it looks like, same as everywhere else.

Watch: they're going to develop & execute a plan to steal the election right in front of us, in public, because they know courts won't stop them, they know Dems won't fight, and they know media will never call it what it is. At this point why would they think anything else?
😡 It’s starting again. “The president’s authority is limited in his role w/ regard to elections except where there is a threat to the national sovereignty of the US — as I think…we can establish w/ the porous system that we have,’ said [Cleta] Mitchell…on a podcast hosted by…Tony Perkins.” 9/3/25 1/

Right-wing justices on the Supreme Court have sanctioned racial profiling when targeting law-abiding immigrant communities.

Shame on these extremists.

They have zero credibility.

As a bookish kid, I admired the Supreme Court for having the character to unanimously come out against segregation in the 1950s, when no other branch of our government would have had that courage.

So it saddens me to see it lose its way and endorse judging people for the color of their skin today.

So glad ICE is in Chicago. The city is a lawless hell-scape. Blues musicians wrecking hundreds of police cars. High schoolers doing weird scientific sex experiments. Kids home alone during the holidays. Women killing their husbands and lovers and then SINGING about it sassily. This has to stop.
