I don't watch Bill Maher, but when @evolutionistrue.bsky.social made a post praising his latest monologue, I watched it. I didn't like it and said so, in a polite, reasonable manner.
Jerry Coyne did not ignore me, he did not counter my arguments, he didn't even mute me. He blocked me.

Women often feel more secure and relaxed in a female only environment, also some women, for religious or cultural reasons, need a female only space. There are very good reasons for having a women-only pond.

My OH looked into this, he told me most men die WITH prostate cancer rather than OF it because it is such a slow developing cancer. South Korea introduced screening with the result that men were medicalised and operated on unnecessarily, and of course it caused a lot of unnecessary worry for them

Terrible headline, it implies that a man who identifies as ‘trans’ had his dignity violated. The reality is that a woman had to share a toilet with this man and had to discuss her heavy periods with her employers to justify her need for a single sex space.
