There are more important things going on, but it does bug me that while I have to rely on a 401K, members of Congress get a defined benefit pension at 62 if they’ve served just *five years.* If 401Ks are good enough for most Americans, why aren’t they good enough for members of Congress?

i think i would honestly find this whole discourse more tolerable if people simply said what they were actually saying, which is that they think the Democratic Party is too associated with femininity (and secondarily, with black people) and that they want to correct this

How is it that every time I see a photo of the Oval Office, it looks trashier? At some point, he’s got to run out of space to plaster hideous, gaudy, gold God-knows-what on every surface. I know this pales in comparison to the suffering he’s inflicting on actual human beings, but the WH is ours!
