A young prince, a weapon called the Glaive, and a bandit army rescue a princess from a beast from the stars. Sure, it’s generic 1980s fantasy, but it’s better-looking than most from that era, and who doesn’t want to throw a deadly starfish?

Imagine a movie that’s a cross between Star Wars, Excalibur, The Princess Bride, Willow, Dune, and Ladyhawke, but with slightly worse special effects than any of them. It shouldn’t work but it’s a lot of fun! Young Liam Neeson and Robbie Coltrane costar as hoodlums!
