Random question... looking for an 3D printer to make HO scale model train buildings. Are there any recommendations for < $200?

The greatest number 8 in MLS history, certainly since the expansion era kicked off.

A centerpiece on four different MLS Cup winners - very few players of any position can claim that status, but nobody else did it at three different clubs.

BREAKING: Columbus Crew midfielder and MLS legend Darlington Nagbe is retiring after the 2025 MLS season, per sources.

Nagbe, 35, is a four-time MLS Cup winner (2015, 2018, 2020, 2023) with three clubs (Portland, Atlanta, Columbus).

One of MLS's best-ever midfielders 👏

What a career Darlington Nagbe has had.

After the Crew won MLS Cup in 2023 I was covering the celebrations in the locker room.

Two different champagne-soaked Crew staffers made sure to tell me:

“He’s the best fucking player this league has seen. You can fucking tweet that.”

Diego Valeri wrote about Nagbe “If I ever have grandchildren and they ask about soccer in the United States, I will tell them that I played with him”

If I ever have grandchildren, I will tell them that I watched him
Darlington Nagbe with 2023 MLS Cup in Diego Valeri’s post Darlington
Darlington
Selfishness doesn't fit into team sports. The ball must be shared. However, Darlington Nagbe could very well keep it at his feet for an entire match, and I bet no one would take it away.
The captain of Columbus is a humble soul and an outstanding
football player.
I met him 10 years ago, and he was a dazzling right winger with a scoring touch. Today, he's a midfielder who understands everything his team needs. Because this is "his" team.
The quiet little man empowers himself when he plays. That's how he speaks. In silence, he mourns injustices and savors the candies of pain. This profession has its gray clouds. Nagbe is a sun. He grows on the field, his smile shines on the stage, holding a trophy in his hands, as he did in every club he played for.
If I ever have grandchildren and they ask about soccer in the
United States, I will tell them that I played with him.

Promise I don't have inside info. Wish I was wrong. 😭

This is from 2023 EC Finals and Nagbe talks about 2025 possibly being his last year. Says "it's 2 years and an option, we'll see if they want me around after that." IMO, ball is completely in his court. Wouldn't say I'm expecting him to retire, but also wouldn't be that surprised if he does.

I struggle with ever/in history type questions, but this guy was certainly disappointing just based on pure numbers before and after #Crew96.
massive317.bsky.social
Well, it wasn't perfect, but I watched a team that looked like the #Crew96 I've come to enjoy under Wilfried Nancy and that's a significant improvement vs the last two months (save for 45 minutes in Atlanta) so I'll take it.
massive317.bsky.social
Yep yep yep, that was good. Do it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again .
massive317.bsky.social
That's a bad decision to give a yellow card. Rough collision for sure, but there was nothing malicious or unfair about it IMO. #Crew96

Good night, I'm going to bed.

Man, I have very little belief that #Crew96 will find an equalizer. Had that second goal not been off, I may have chosen sleep at halftime.

In 2024 it took a team poisoning the Crew to stop us from winning a continental final, in 2025 we can shit our pants all on our own.
massive317.bsky.social
If I did math right, #Crew96:
-1st 14 games: 7W/6D/1L, 1.93 PPG
-18 games since: 5W/6D/7L, 1.17 PPG

In 2nd category was stretch of 7 G from 6/14-7/19: 4W/1D/2L, 1.86 PPG. Since beating DC on 7/19, 0.88 PPG in MLS.

IDK what happened or if it can be fixed, but I think it's very much a mental issue.
massive317.bsky.social
Welp, #Crew96 suck right now. Too bad we can't play Liga MX teams the rest of the way.
massive317.bsky.social
Sheesh... #Crew96 just can't defend to save their lives. Very well could play in the wild card/play in round. What a massive disappointment from what they showed as their potential earlier this year. At this point, I have zero faith they can get it figured out. 😞

This quote...I remember seeing the joy on Matan's face after his game against Porter last year.

You've got to be a real asshole for someone to say the words, "Nobody loves him & he forgets that we have families & that we are real people."

Can't see many future opportunities in MLS for coach bot.

I don't pay close attention to the NFL anymore, but "competent offensive line" was a big role in Andrew Luck retiring early. 😟 Hated to see it, but was hard to really blame him.
