Just getting set up for tonight, three boys sharing this one room.

There will definitely be arguments about who is sharing.

And we're all down, sorta.

Eldest woke up again, but after Santa had been, so he's found a cuddly toy in his stocking and is heading back to bed happy and relaxed.

I suspect this isn't the last wake up of the night...

I'm so glad I don't have to cook the dinner tomorrow!
Eldest woke up at 11:30, hasn't gotten back to sleep yet.

It might be a late one folks...
Boys went to bed two hours ago.

Youngest is still wide awake and totally wired.

Will they fall asleep before we do?

The fireplace is all ready for Santa, and I'm wearing my new Christmas pyjamas (as is everyone else, all five of us have a matching set)

It's Christmas eve, so we are prepping for the traditional hot chocolate and annual viewing of Arthur Christmas.

This year we have a special gift from Santa in our Christmas eve bundle, a family set of matching pyjamas, and hand grated chocolate to make the drinks with.

I watched two Christmas movies last night.

The Muppets Christmas carol, and jingle all the way.

We also went out for Christmas dinner with extended family today, and have booked seats for a pantomime on Monday.

I'm feeling rather festive 😁

Can people please stop trying to use AI to generate text book style images.

It's horribly bad at it, and those images all already exist because actual graphic designers have made them.

Basic good teaching:
1: Make sure the students are listening
2: Explain the content clearly (whilst they are still listening)
3: Give them time to practice
4: Check if they have understood

Rinse and repeat.

7. We should also look at why so many more people feel they need diagnosis. Are people coping less well than they were? Or were they always not coping and now talking about it more? Has life changed in ways that make it harder to cope?
