The Xmas lights came out and I still had the remote control that I'd forgotten to put away with the lights. I've been looking after that remote for the whole year. Making sure I didn't let it get lost in some random collection of junk.

i've bought some new ethernet cable stripping tools from ebay. as a lovely treat for my future self. there's nothing quite like needing to strip a bit of particularly tough ethernet cable and finding you have just the right tool.

Someone I grew up with became a self taught Feng Shui expert. It got me thinking I can just teach myself something else that was a current fad, new thing, so I bought a book on writing code for websites. Also I helped out on a short film and yada yada yada became a Grip for a few years.
