In South Africa we have Grey Loeries which are called "go away" birds and it just sounds rude to the untrained ear 😆 I went back to SA recently after having spent 20 years there and the song made me laugh when I heard it again because it really does sound like it's telling you to f*** off 😁

Oh dear. I haven't watched The Lighthouse yet but it's on my list! I feel very much the same way about The VVitch and The Northman, felt the latter was excellent in parts and flat/long in others... Is Dafoe "real" good or "so hammy he could be served along with chicken in a pie" good? Only options.

Interesting, thanks! Considering how hostile Venus is now it's cool to think that Venus may have been somewhat earth-like, having planets like Mars and Venus hosting water bodes well for possible/probably alien life SOMEWHERE out there, which is awesome - literally! - to think about :)

Does that not depend on the chemical makeup of its oceans? Assuming they wouldn't be oceans of water. From a quick wiki admittedly, it seems Venus' CURRENT atmosphere is mostly CO2, does that reflect light differently?

Not a call out, a genuine question from a budding astrophysicist :)
