I always wonder why the women who speak in support of anti-trans bills do so. Those bills actually hurt women more as it opens the door for people to bully masculine presenting women and to open up all women to scrutiny and unnecessary questioning.

Of course they cut the public hearing at the Iowa capital on the anti-trans bill HF 583 because they had so few people to speak for the bill. They also had the hallway to the room closed off preemptively. Republicans are cowards.

This is so dumb. Trans athletes are not an issue. Especially when you consider the amount of performance enhancement that already happens in professional sports.

This should really not surprise anyone who grew up in rural areas where news deserts are the worst. When people only get news from few or one source they will be heavily influenced by those sources. Especially throw in how people need to work more and are too busy for news it gets much worse.
