This is tough- I do enjoy personalizing, but like others have said, it takes all this time, I get attached on that agent . . . and then get rejected anyway. Curious if others have advice on how to streamline this. #kidlitchat

Also, why kid lit events are the best: to my right during this author talk, I heard playful shouts from kids tumbling around on giant hay bales, while to my left every now and then, someone would go shooting down a slide. (It was at the Children’s Museum)
