Reclaiming My Korean-American Identity: One Recipe at a Time, a guest post by Lydia Kang

Without effort, our culture will inevitably dissipate over generations. It takes intention to keep the stove on. To keep the recipes alive.

Are Kids Just Miniature Adults? A guest post by Simon Stephenson

The best storytellers I know put their emotions on the page or screen and don't seem to make a distinction between children and adults.

In other news, the whole thing about Calibri v. TNR isn't about a font face, it's about the fact that Calibri is easier for people with some disabilities to read.

They think any accommodation, however painless, should stop.

Sharing for the side by side comparison of fonts
Sometimes headlines are too funny, you just have to make an infographic. 🇺🇸 A font coup is underway: Times New Roman is back, ousting Calibri for being "too woke." 🤯 Font choices are officially a matter of national security.

Will this font war spill into Canada? 🇨🇦 #FontWars #DEI #StateDepartment

This. This is another assault on marginalized people. Sand Serif fonts are recommended in design classes for people with Dyslexia.
Lots of jokes about a "woke" font but a shift from a sans-serif to a serif font is actually bad for inclusion!

Calibri is a much more readable font than Times New Roman, so this does make things worse for e.g. those with dyslexia and those with low vision.
Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move
