Opinion | An assault weapons ban is Minnesota’s constitutional and necessary next step

A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF

Join us even if you don’t want to speak! (N.B. happily/sadly we have already gotten a lot of interest & bc can’t have a 100 person panel, we won’t be able to get everyone on this particular one.)

Saint Paul is ready to act on day one when preemption is lifted. Our ordinance represents a collective effort to address gun violence. It’s time for state leaders to meet us in this moment of urgency and safeguard the future our children deserve.

I mean, can confirm there are many intelligent, feisty, beautiful single women at Democratic canvassing events ☺️💙
The solution to the male loneliness epidemic is attending a local Democratic Party canvassing event.
WOW. 81% of women 18-29 voted for Mamdani, 80% for Sherril, and 78% for Spanberger.

Gen Z women aren't playing around.

And by adopting a new red flag law, Mainers took a meaningful step to prevent gun violence. This measure will give families, courts, and law enforcement the tools they need to intervene when someone poses a serious risk to themselves or others—while preserving the rights of responsible gun owners.
