yeah, was speaking more metaphorically...I guess a more apt description would be like how energy can degrade over time due to a form of friction or otherwise. but yeah it really could vary wildly

like. can they die? they're made of energy. we know they can get exhausted and recharge said energy. but can they burn out? do they naturally deteriorate over time like a battery, until they stop being able to regenerate?
