Or even more... and by that I mean all the way up and down the ballot to say hey, it's not just the governor race that matters - the rest of the statewide races and the Virginia House of Delegates are so important.
And there's also the potential to finally flip the Pennsylvania State Senate to blue for the first time in over three decades, while also expanding the majority in the State House.
There's flippable districts out there that could give PA Dems the State Senate majority in 2026...
And same goes for protesters who claim to be pro-Palestine... unfortunately these were part of an operative to cause chaos, plus they often wore masks to hide themselves.
It's clear that by protesting Dem events only, they weren't supporting the cause and supported Trump all along, which is sad.
I'm also going to add this... and this applies to all of Pennsylvania - but if you experience misinformation, call the voter protection hotlines listed below so that they can report this to their attention. bsky.app/profile/mell...
And I would also add this - call the voter protection hotline in PA if you see something like this happen and report it to their attention. 1-877-868-3772 (1-877-VOTES-PA) is the number to call, or you can also call at 1-833-728-6837.
I hope PA people have their phones ready in case this happens.

If the Republicans won't swear her in, it's time to get a federal judge to do so. Perhaps a lawsuit in court may force them to swear her in, assuming that they will comply with the court order - or we can get a random federal judge (usually in the state that she won) to swear her in.
We do want to note however that the deadline to register for the #TN07 special election on December 2nd is Monday, November 3, 2025 - the day before the 2025 November general elections.
So those who voted in the Dem primary, we need to convince them to vote again and get new folks out to vote.
And some might decide to change their mind and vote in person (early) if their mail-in ballot hasn't arrived. I think we need to have a plan B ready to go if plan A doesn't pan out.
And at this point, it could result in the filing deadline, primaries, and runoffs for Texas being pushed back further if the maps are indeed struck down.
We don't want to assume anything because the deadline to run for office (along with filing fee/signatures) is just two months from now.
Same is true for every state - we really need to get those red/non-voting states turned into purple states, and eventually blue to really show progress.
That means filling the precinct chairs, running for office, becoming a poll worker - and hey, even a volunteer/canvasser as well.
And we don't know if these who are pushing the doom and gloom are actually trolls/bots... this is part of the problem that we are contending with right now.
And not just fill those seats... we need to make sure once they run, they have the funds needed to run a real campaign. Sadly in 2024, there was way too many underfunded seats, and when they were underfunded, voters didn't hear from the candidate directly.
Time for the Democratic states as well as AGs to fight back by suing in court to stop this - and get GOP state officials like Texas to comply with court orders.
I see that Illinois and Chicago have filed a lawsuit today. More reasons like this above makes us want to vote Abbott out of office.
Same goes for #IA03 where voters in that district need to defeat Zach Nunn, and in #IA02, defeat the GOP candidate that wins the primary (as well as #IASen, which could be Ashley Hinson or whoever emerges in the GOP Senate primary).
#IA04 is a longshot to flip, but hey... you never know.
It seems to be a trend that's happened all year ever since Trump has taken office - a stay, granted by SCOTUS often without explanation... rinse and repeat.
Let's hope oral arguments will begin to turn the tide, otherwise Dems need to take back Congress to investigate this and the Trump admin.
It just baffles me to say the least, but ever since the immunity case last year, it seems to me that Trump has been getting away with it more this term with the misuse of the emergency shadow docket.
Hopefully when oral arguments come later this month, the tide might begin to turn around.
