considering Some Of The News Today, i wanted to mock up my own take on a front-end for retro games and keep it as simple as possible.

probably something like it exists but eh i wanted to design something today lol
A mock-up of an emulation front-end, with the two primary colours being a dark, de-saturated blue and a bright beige. The left half of the screen uses the dark blue as a backdrop, with prominent elements being displayed in the beige colour, namely the system title (Nintendo 64), available games (26 in this mockup, although not all are shown), and a list of games. In particular, Cruis'n USA is highlighted, and marked as a favourite (with a star), and is also currently selected. The right half of the screen shows selection information, in this case the year of release, the company who produced the game (no publisher info as of right now), a selection of tags (in this case, N64, 1-2 Players, Port, Racing were selected), and a placeholder description. See the first image. The only difference is the colours being pure black and white instead. See the first image. The only difference here is the colours being a light blue and a dark purple instead.

been using my macbook via a hdmi to usb-c cable for a little bit now, and honestly i think i vastly prefer it over windows even with all the os differences. im learning it bit by bit but it's nice hwen things just WORK.

some favourites from a recent shoot that i've edited/graded

The track and the platform bend slightly towards the end of the platform, and leads into a tunnel. A photograph of a train semaphore signal, indicating a green (also known as "proceed") signal. A photograph of a boat, which has the term "BELFAST" written on its side, that rests on the river Thames during the night. There are a lot of lights behind the boat on the other end of the river, but they are not the focus.

turns out 0cc-famitracker does just work on my apple m1. i don't use it much anymore over furnace but i still need it for Certain Things

this is awesome. the path to not using windows is very viable.

i started this a few months ago (right after the deltarune hype i think, early july) and nicknamed it "amaranth castle", but i don't think i will finish it. i still think it's cool that sgm and other free/stock stuff have so much versatility (when used right)

i didn't want the bother of maintaining them, and also i have Nuanced Opinions (tm) about clicking a button and having up to 150 unknown mutuals on your following feed

honestly as good as having a job that's a 5 minute walk from your house is, i do genuinely miss being able to blast some tunes on my headphones during the commute, or using that time to catch up on socials etc... but i also don't miss getting home 3 hours late bc of train/bus cancellations
