Trump says if we don't take Greenland, Russia or China will.
Which is why NATO was created of course, and as long as NATO exists, Russia and China won't invade.
But Trump clearly wants NATO dead. True alliances don't fit his Darwinian "Spheres of Influence" view of the world.

LIKE a military occupation??

@nytimes.com intentionally distorts its own reporting. Elliot Payne's quote was "This is a military occupation. And it feels like a military occupation."

Headline manufactures doubt in what was a declarative statement.

After we won our lawsuit forcing ICE to allow oversight, my two visits to 26 Fed have revealed dramatic improvements because oversight works.

Sec. Noem's move isn't about safety. It's about cover-ups.

Why is "the most transparent administration in history" afraid of congressional oversight?
NEWS: A day after the Minneapolis shooting, Secretary Noem quietly signed a new policy barring congressional visits to ICE facilities without a week's advance notice. That policy change led to three MN Dems being blocked from accessing an ICE facility today. www.politico.com/news/2026/01...

Please protest non-violently. Make them look absurd, as we've been doing.

It's working.

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

Trump has no interest in Venezuelan democracy; he prefers the viciously corrupt regime in place. Maduro was only arrested to make room for someone more pliable. And Machado, the elected leader, would never cooperate with Trump's plan to take control of Venezuela's oil reserves.

Q: You said the US is going to run Venezuela. So who's in power right now?

TRUMP: Well, we're gonna be running it with a group. We're gonna make sure it's run properly. We're gonna rebuild the oil infrastructure which will cost billions of dollars.

Trump’s actions are no longer political but manifestations of his uncontrolled narcissism: he demands unlimited power, riches, flattery, revenge. Respects no law.

An emperor steeped in glory, building monuments to his own greatness.

He is mad.

We have not seen this in our lifetime.
