Filmmaker/screenwriter of a bunch of indie horror flicks and some made-for-TV movies your mom likes. Co-host of Midnight Mass.
I don't think I have words enough to express how much I'm down for whatever Paula Pell brings to the screen.

Each year I miss it by one more day, I guess? Anyway, happy eight years (!!) at Fango to me and @mereborders.bsky.social. Thanks for keeping me sane(ish) through this weird ride ❤️
… that yesterday was @mereborders.bsky.social’s seven-year anniversary with Fango, an even bigger deal, frankly. And I’d like to take the occasion to say that neither I nor Fango would be here seven years later if not for Meredith. She’s the magazine’s secret weapon and its beating heart. The best ❤️

The thing about weird artists is that they do exactly as implied: They make the weird choices...and weird choices are innately human. A machine can only approximate weird, but it will never know what it means to intentionally skew. Weird art is power and possibility. Strangeness is existence.

A cool gig courtesy @michaelvarrati.bsky.social & @paramountscares.com!

I love interviewing people & these folks were lovely, down to earth, grateful, & absolutely understood their place & importance in pop culture.

The 2nd time I’ve interviewed Kane & he cried both times.

Some fun F13 tidbits

Although DAWSON'S CREEK was certainly zeitgeist-defining, it was DON'T TRUST THE B IN APARTMENT 23 that truly made me appreciate James Van Der Beek. Not everyone would be so willing to portray a parody of themselves...and there's something to be learned about not taking ourselves so seriously.

The question "are we human or are we dancers" suggests that dancers are something separate from human. A nimble, otherworldly being, perhaps.
