Haven't played it, but from what little I've seen of it, it feels like it's torn between being a modern Doom game, and a Borderlands game.
It feels more like Shadow Warrior 2 / 3 than painkiller.

A friend's headset broke once so he had to use speakers.
Waited till he had to go to the toilet one evening, then I said "Alexa, set an alarm for 5 hours, make it use an airhorn sound, max volume."
Alexa confirmed.
My buddy did not sleep well that night. :)

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.
