episode 4 is where they start doing interesting canon shit, it's still a little fluffy but it got there
end of episode 3 was also when they started picking up some of what speaks to me about Trek but 4 is when it went for it

giving Starfleet Academy a solid chance, so far I'm mostly sad it seems to be lacking in A to C thinking and is afraid of following philosophy or canon through to find neat stuff

I played this first but it's so much better after playing NieR (replicant), I think it's maybe ideal to play Automata, Replicant and then Automata again
oh I forgot how much I love NieR: Automata, it's so cruel what happens to that world as you go and yet it's pretty how it's sad
