We were there and loved every minute.
Though it was sobering to learn from Laura Poitras that Seymour Hersh - a man who has bravely broken stories about so many obscene cover-ups by US military and gov (Vietnam, Nixon, Abu Ghraib) believes that things have never been as bad as they are right now…
And we have ANOTHER incredible screening tomorrow of BAFTA-nominated Cover-Up.
Its sponsored by @netflix.com ix with drinks & nibbles & I'll be doing a Q&A with director Laura Poitras. It's for founder members of @thenerve.news but we have a few extra tickets [email protected]

Speaking as an immigrant out of Monaco, Sir Jim Ratcliffe told us this week that Britain has been “colonised”.

Except that Britain still writes its own laws, controls its own borders and governs its own migration system.

Almost as though he doesn’t have the foggiest what he’s talking about.
When Sir Jim Ratcliffe Plays the Colonised
As someone raised in a country shaped by British colonial rule, I know what domination looks like. Migration under UK law isn’t it.
