Cake or pie for my 50th birthday? There are too many options. For my special meal, due to it being a big College Football day I'm going full superbowl spread. People can dip in & out all day & I don't have to worry about a big party. It's also a good excuse to use my Gma's China to be fancy.

I am bone dead tired. I have new respect for nurses and cna's. Thankfully Dad is more mobile and is able to more and more by himself. It's crazy to think I had the same exact surgery 25 years ago. I was wearing high heals to go to my birthday party and slipped in Moscows famous freezing rain.

I'm old enough to remember it being a basketball school and hating Bobby Knight. I kind of like this plucky Indiana football team.

We have Dirext tv due to sports, & there is no way I can teach my Dad to stream. He has to have the MLB package, so it's $180 a month. If that's how he wants to spend his money, he deserves it. He taught l for 50 years. I stream it on my floor downstairs, so it's a win-win. I miss water cooler talk
