I don't know why I have to keep explaining to people that Nintendo not only does not make Pokemon, but pretty much only have console exclusivity rights as their stake in Pokemon Company. Especially if they obstinately act like they know how publishing and development works.

The feel of this trailer makes it really apparent this is helmed by a guy from the TV cartoon world. And I am here for it.
Pixar just dropped a new trailer for Hoppers this morning. I'm gonna be honest, this might be my most anticipated animated film of next year. You can really feel Daniel Chong's energy in this and it really looks like Pixar's craziest film, even more than Turning Red. I'm hyped.

I don’t think live action remakes of animated properties are inherently disrespectful to animation. Projects like SPEED RACER (2008) and ONE PIECE (2023) prove that even animation fans can appreciate a live-action take if the filmmakers respect the source material.
That’s just the tricky part.

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."

I think we’re a while away from a new 3D or 2D Mario game, given both Bananza and the Mario Wonder update.
But there could still be surprises next year aside from the Mario Tennis and Yoshi games. I could see them announcing Luigi’s Mansion 4, a new WarioWare, or even Mario Maker 3.
