Of course they did, and as someone who's been in front of many juries as an attorney I'll tell you why: jurors hate government overreach more than anything, and this case was such a blindingly obvious instance of serious government overreach that everyone associated with it should probably be fired.

So the other day the Edmonton Oilers blew a 3 - 0 lead. I couldn't think of a more on-brand way to open the season.
