Me watching Wales v New Zealand on Saturday afternoon after seeing the calamitous day 2 of the cricket
the Doug Mills video embedded in the NYT Trump aging story is pretty amazing

Not saying the Wales team for the weekend is inexperienced but I think half of them would get lost on a stadium tour.

Some great refereeing quotes at the end of another exceptional piece

Not a massive fan of this sort of thing being investigated. You would have thought, given the after the whistle on field stuff which happened, that the tunnel was better policed. As the cameras were in place I can’t see how you avoid it being looked at now.

Every fucking word uttered by Austin Healey saps enjoyment from the game you’re watching. Just a tedious, contrarian.

It all sounds very subdued out there

Call me an opportunist (‘you’re an opportunist’) but I see there is a #totp on about 1986, and well, I’ve written a book about that decade and people seem to like it. Also: Christmas soon. #IntoTheGroove
#IntoTheGroove, my month-by-month guide to 1980s musical history, and a tale of pop and circumstance.
