Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

The Schoolmaster - a film sourced from the National Library of Scotland. It's a real blast from the past (1953) and set in Crieff, Perthshire. Well worth a watch. 🙂

Fear, hate and the erosion of rights, freedoms, and living standards are being weaponised by immoral right-wing actors. They promise “order” while shifting power from the many to a greedy few. This isn’t saving #democracy, it’s hollowing it out.

“Dutch people cycle an average of 2.6km each per day. If this pattern was replicated worldwide, annual carbon emissions would drop by 686 million tonnes.

This mammoth figure exceeds the entire carbon footprint of most countries, including the UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Australia.” @euronews.com
Cycling like the Dutch would slash the world’s carbon footprint
If everybody cycled like the Dutch, we could offset the UK or Australia’s entire carbon footprint.

60,000 people – 0.001% of the world’s population – control three times as much wealth as the entire bottom half of humanity.

Top 10% earn more than the other 90%.

They control govts, means of production; inflict civil strife, deaths; thwart possibilities of democracy.

Tax the rich.
Just 0.001% hold three times the wealth of poorest half of humanity, report finds
Data from World Inequality Report also showed top 10% of income-earners earn more than the other 90%

New Statesman reporting Reform politicians are avoiding head to head debates with me.

Their lies come crumbling down when confronted with the truth.

Let's keep building the movement to take on Reform:

This should be a wake up call to Keir Starmer. Trump is not a reliable ally.

Trump wants to weaken Europe and carve up Ukraine while cosying up to Putin. Britain and our allies in Europe must stand together against his threats and bullying.

In this video, I share 12 essential questions to challenge politicians when they deny economic reality — and ensure the power of money is used for people, not for the wealthy few.

The super-rich rightwing are pouring money into Reform. Do ordinary voters really think their aim is to even out social inequality and make their lives better? Do they think they’re doing it so Farage invests in infrastructure and public services? Ffs. Democracy being beaten to death in plain sight.

In case it wasn't already obvious why Farage and his party are spreading misinformation about the climate crisis and trying to blame the most vulnerable for the problems caused by inequality - they've just received a record donation from a jet fuel multimillionaire!

Reform accepted £9 million from a former Boris Johnson backer & crypto-multimillionaire.

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

Brits are sold the myth that the government “has no money” and must cut like a household. This false story makes austerity look unavoidable, even though it’s a political choice, not an economic necessity.
November 30, 2025 at 9:57 PM
UK politicians don’t explain how money really works because the “household budget” myth is politically useful: it justifies cuts, hides choices, and keeps voters quiet. It also protects the power of markets, donors and institutions that prefer governments constrained by “debt”.

Fun Fact: I remember arguing with her over which of us hated Piggy the most. I was sure I did. She disagreed. It remains unresolved...
Carrie Fisher was the blueprint.
