At #kuopiopelaa I got try out some awesome new demos by local game devs including Kalla Gameworks' (makers of the Pegasus Expedition) upcoming title and Neon Cocoa's #meatwithoutmaster! MWM most definitely ended on my Steam Wishlist! They even had a cute little meat plushie!

Had a good time today at #kuopiopelaa! Met and spoke with some fellow game devs and got to check out some very interesting demos! I'd love to see more Finnish video game events like this in the future.

For your first case in Kitty Cat Detective, you are after some missing blueberry muffins! Who could've taken them?

Kitty Cat Detective didn't unfortunately take steps forward today. With that being said, I am getting so close to having the first playtest section done. Stay tuned! #gamedev

Truly a strange day. Woke up at noon (the classic unemployed experience) and the day just disappeared somewhere. Not sure if I can even blame Trails of Cold Steel for this.

When you spend 4 hours trying to think how to implement something, trying out different things before accidentally stumbling into a solution by trying out something that should not have worked and is actually much more simple than anything you previously tried.

Watched a good video by MMqd about solo development. I believe that this is indeed the way for most solo devs to get stuff done. Working on Kitty Cat Detective I've created a lot of systems I see myself using on #Godot projects for the foreseeable future.

Today I'm running the final session of our long Greyhawk campaign. The PCs will be facing off against the newly reborn demigod Vecna and his minions in Tovag Baragu. As an extra debuff all of us are extremely tired even before starting!

What are your thoughts on Jesse Schell's "The Art of Game Design: A Book of Lenses"? Is it worth the price to get it? What about the deck of cards? Many people recommended it, but what exactly makes it good or worth it?

I think running tabletop RPGs gives an interesting perspective into game and narrative design. You get instantaneous player feedback and can adjust things right there and then if you want. The more you do it, the better you learn what makes different kinds of players tick. #gamedesign #ttrpg

This joke is agelessly impossibly old, but is the glue that holds every dev team together. It communicates the gallows humour and nihilism that has powered the development of every game you ever loved.
the best joke in videogames development is replying "ship it" to every broken ass prototype no I will not be taking questions
