It seems like this is what's going to start happening. Fractures between the states and the fed, individual states pulling away, forming coalitions against the fed and the red states, heading towards another civil war. How long before secession starts looking like a real possibility for blue states?
Could make arguments either way on whether this is a direct violation of Article I, Sect. 10, Clause 3. Not that I oppose it. Time for states to start exercising authority in weird ways, regardless of whether they have such authority.

ICE thinks they can command local law enforcement. They have zero jurisdiction to do so. Remember, their area of concern is supposed to be immigration, period. Nothing outside of that purview is within their power no matter what ICE ICE Barbie or Baby Bovino say. This is all flat-out illegal.
The Star Tribune reports that federal agents "attempted to order local police from the scene" where a man was shot and killed by feds this morning, but Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara refused and "instructed his officers to preserve the scene."

More threats against Canada from Trump. He's back on the tariff wagon, and it makes me wonder: If he thinks China will destroy Canada, what's the purpose of the petty, foot-stomping 100% tariff? If he didn't think our deal with China would go well, why is he so mad at us about it?

...I mean, that's been the case both times he's been president. He surrounds himself with people even dumber than he is so he can feel like the smartest guy in the room, even when the room's collective IQ barely reaches room temperature.
