#WorldDiabetesDay 1) Adults can get #type1diabetes and kids can get #type2diabetes. 2) Both arise from genetics and environment. The "genetic" #diabetes types are separate. 3) The tech is helpful, but it doesn't automate control (yet). 4) Beyond "lifestyle," T2D is also socioeconomic.

Just to illustrate the insanity of #type1diabetes, this is what I woke up to today. Using connected tech. No, I don’t sleep-eat. Nothing unusual at bedtime. Chalking it up to #T1D gremlins. 😈😑

No Evidence Supports Using Graded Exercise for ME/CFS
Studies examining the effects of activity-based interventions haven’t required post-exertional malaise as a core criterion for the now-termed ‘myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.’

There is a huge difference between "chronic fatigue" and the illness widely known as "myalgic encephalomyelitis," or "ME." In the US the compromise term is "ME/CFS," but many prefer to just eliminate the "chronic fatigue" part altogether, to minimize confusion. #MECFS

There's a simpler way. Focus on the main health offenders:
