I fully expected our plow guys to plow once yesterday given the amount of snow and past protocol. Instead, they showed up this morning and did 2/3 of the driveway and none of the shoveling. Will they back? Maybe, I guess

Once again: Focusing on their lack of training is a mistake. With "better training," their violence would simply cost more, and they would still kill whoever they wanted, but make it look more professional — to make people more comfortable, the way many of you are at ease with local police violence.

I now keep small leak proof, drawstring garbage bags in the car ever since I was struck very suddenly with a stomach bug on my way to pick up Jamie for spring break. The bags that I had with me that day were not leak proof.

Update: the shelter-in-place was lifted and no weapon was found. My daughter is home- she leaves after third period every day. She was with her paraprofessional when the announcement to shelter was announced. They were taking a quiet stroll through the hallway and had to duck into nearest classroom
