I know work has been a lot and I'm so tired because I spent way too long stuck on the first few words trying to figure out what the hell Matt Mercer had to do with the ACA.
The CR to open the government included no guarantees around extending ACA subsidies.
Will a vote on extending them actually happen? Who knows!
In any case, Trump and his lapdogs continue to assert that they have the power to slash whatever programs they don’t like.

So Dems demanded an extension on subsidies or else. Then they caved. The GOP being smart is now adding abortion restrictions to a subsidies extension forcing Dems to either sell out on abortion or vote no on the subsidies they demanded in the first place.

The Administration is complying with the court ruling to reinstate SNAP, but only half funding. And since the average benefit is usually $187/person per month....we're back at it raising food bank funds.
