After they moved out, I took the glow-in-the-dark stars off the walls. It reminded me of all the times I said to Clover's mother to find a way to include Clover in what she was doing. I should added 'without yelling'. Also, that watching your mother do something is not doing something together.

I've felt pretty traumatized by a lot of events in my life in the past 6 or so years. It took until this October for Child Services to finally make a narcissist fix the address of her kid on paperwork from the state. They haven't lived here since 2022 and every quarter was a fresh wound.

Then, there's the issue of time and energy. In physics, it's allowed for something really high energy to occur as long as it only lasts a very short time. In my case, it's a matter of now that I have time, how do I get my energy up? We got a treadmill and I've been using it a week. We shall see.

I am, regarding previous post, well aware that the Universe makes no promises and how silly it is to want it to. I'm embracing my current reality and the blessing of time. Now, to get back to writing. I hope to publish by end of year. To double my current streak of one last year.

Forty years. When a child is born it's a promise: that they will grow up. If they die before their parents that's a promise broken. Adding that to all the other promises made and broken with no apologies, they weigh heavy on my soul. I grieve the might-have-beens and then I get back to writing.
