I don't think people understand that if you shut down the government, ICE and CBP do NOT shut down. They're funded by supplemental money from the BBB. That's why dems are separating the DHS funding bill and asking for restrictions. I want them to demand a rescission of that funding or shut DHS down

Press conferences and social media posts have not changed conditions on the ground. Another person taken today off of Central Ave and Northeast middle school had to delay letting kids leave because of ICE presence in the area. The federal government continues to make our community less safe.

Funding vote fails in Senate ahead of potential government shutdown. The real problem is that even if the Dems strike a deal with Trump, we can’t have confidence that Trump will abide by it. Look at the release of the Epstein Files, he even signed that one. But, he never wanted them released .
