Gentlemen, the 2nd vape division of the Underarmour electric bike snoods has fallen.

Send in the roadmen with Ned support!

I absolutely hate when middle class journalists decide to cast the working class as canon fodder for their imaginary wars.

Do fuck off Allison.
If we lose an imaginary war with Russia, Gary Lineker and the woke left will be to blame - well that's a perfectly sane take Allison

Just letting you know that I've started my annual Christmas panto one-man show of "Trains, Planes, and Automobiles".

It's a co-production with Avanti trains and presented by West coast Mainline.

And Malcolm in the middle class is telling me that life is unfair.

Well let the pita chips fall where they may.

Whilst I pray for his new balance to take him away.

Weird because I thought I would pay money to Disney+ to in turn pay professional actors, writers, and tradespeople to make interesting stories that some random dipshit would not be as good at

Material well being for the people that live next to data centres? The ones that can't get water? Or the material wellbeing for the people losing jobs to mediocre digital replacement so corporations can spend even less money in the communities they inflict themselves on?
Techno optimism has enabled the most enormous increase in overall material well being for humans on this planet ever. There is no way we live here with 8 billion neighbors without the benefits of technology.

"Skeetona non grata" will be the name of my 2026 agitprop live art performance collective.
17. Oh no! Our dear friend [email protected] has been suspended from Bluesky under Proposition 8:12 of its Community Guidelines. Simply because he's not promoting a book! Deemed 'skeetona non grata'. He even offered to write a novella. Nope. 'Too short'.

Contender for the next massively disappointing walk around experience to rival the world of Wonka fiasco:

I will add though that elevating artists above one another in competition is a folly.

All artists enrich the world. It isn't something you can win. There is no "best artist" just an artist that best fits the desire of the people judging them.

Such a lot of hot takes about this year's Turner Prize, so I will remind people that Damien Hirst actually went fishing to catch his shark, killing it with his own hands and then dragged it to the gallery, and dropped it into the glass tank he had built, filled with the formaldehyde he had distilled

Nice use of a fabricated image there from the Spectator.

That isn't journalism, that's cosplay.

If you can't trust the media not to just make shit up visually, how can you trust their words?

This is important stuff in a world of plausible AI and sinister manipulation.

I know some of you on here don't really deal with Arts Council England directly.

So this is just to let you know that it is currently an absolute bin fire and that grass roots arts in the UK are on the imminent verge of collapsing.

Theatres, visual art, community practice.

All aflame.

Reviews are free AND they are a gift to authors that can keep on giving (i.e., exposure, marketing, algo boosts, etc.)

Please, give the gift of reviews to your authors this holiday season. It really can make a difference!

I'd rather have David Lynch rate me as an actor over Tarantino any day.
