This John Pertwee era Doctor Who is so good with the way it tackles British Big Science stuff from the 1970s - drilling a hole through the Earth’s crust, fusion reactors, crewed missions to Mars. Of course they did none of that stuff but they wanted to. We all wanted to. Usbourne Future via Ballard.
