But they’re also terrified.

Ok, perhaps that’s it. I would think they would’ve had some reaction afterwards to the gun going off and like almost shooting themselvesZ

When I saw before, there were comments debating whether it was the rifle firing or a flashlight attachment; they erred towards the flashlight.

So does the fact that his gun fires when he falls mean that he did not have the safety on?
Unacceptable. A road — possibly associated with Tren de Aragua — left unpaved by Minnesota radicals weaponized itself against two of our courageous officers, causing one to discharge his firearm in self-defense.

I know votes on legislative packages often involve cross-cutting considerations, and members of Congress will have to weigh those. But if I were a member of Congress, I don’t believe I could vote for any appropriation bill that funded DHS without requiring changes in ICE and CBP practices.

Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but when a govt agent kills someone, I don't think gov't officials should make public statements about the lawfulness or justification of the killing prior to an actual investigation.

Yeah, but I’m sure we had 2 or 3 boats minimum, so tots diff.

Rep. Angie Craig: "We were told because this facility is being funding by the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' not the congressional appropriations act, that we would not be allowed to enter the facility. That's complete nonsense ... I informed them they were violating the law. They said they didn't care."

All hail Alfred Marshall reincarnated.
If you had predicted with precise accuracy any of our current top stories this week during the ‘24 election, it would have been dismissed as Trump Derangement Syndrome by most of the professional takesmiths.
Trump succeeds at united the world—against us.
This week, South Korea's president had 1st official visit to Beijing by leader of Korea since 2019.
In fall, Chinese President Xi had his first visit to South Korea in 11 years. The leaders of Canada & China met for first time in 8 years. Etc.

If you don't think mass market credit cards should exist as they do today, that's an opinion you can have, but that's what would happen with a 10% interest rate cap.

Hey Tom, do you think we have enough mechanisms in place to keep him from canceling the midterms? That's my biggest fear right now.
It is deeply counter to the whole very basic concept of this nation that its citizens can be taxed and then have funding withheld punitively because the person exercising the power of the presidency decides on a whim to do so.
at some point we're gonna have to have a real conversation about why we're still paying federal taxes to a regime that isn't using them to help anyone, but instead is using them to brutalize us

At some point, the Compact between the States becomes null and void.

Ok, so I’m thinking the Jets need to trade down in the draft.

Narrator: “Not well.”
parts of Dante Moore’s game that I was keeping an eye on during this playoff run was how he would handle pressure and less than ideal pockets and windows to throw into. It’s been a question mark throughout the season.

Guys, guys! I have an idea.. somebody just slip him a note that says “I resign”.
“When people give me things, I post them.”

That’s a terrifying decision rule for someone comfortable wielding unchecked power over anyone in this world.

I mean the Jets and Raiders for sure, but so can half the FBS.

I’m starting to wonder how many actual NFL teams they can beat.
