A great one gone today. Here’s a memory: I interviewed him, years ago, and unlike many very famous people, he didn’t use a wall of publicists but just called me himself. The phone rang: “Hi, Moira, it’s Bob Redford.” Rest peacefully, sir. variety.com/2025/film/ne...

Just a reminder, in case anyone needs it, that Martin Scorsese’s glorious “The Age of Innocence” is leaving Netflix at the end of the month and oh, does it ever bear rewatching.

So many, but probably “The Thin Man,” which presented marriage as a playful, joyous adventure. (“You got types?” “Only you, darling. Lanky brunettes with wicked jaws.”)

So yesterday I was in Ravenna Third Place Books, saying hello to “Storybook Ending” (#4 on the bestseller shelf!), and a staffer told me that someone had left a note for me — which is basically the plot of my book. #lifeimitatesart

Hi! Fine wavy/curly hair here, as evidenced in author photo below (taken on a good hair day). Rules: 1) no blow dryer, ever. 2) no brushing or combing when dry (or even wet; I just use my fingers). 3) Curl cream, and not too much (I like Verb).

Well, clearly I have arrived, because I just got an email via my author website from the publicist for a “well-known TV Host & Influencer,” which lists in great detail this person’s A-list credentials and offers a “partnership” with me, for which they would be happy to “discuss our rates.”
