I was wrong - it makes things very clear and even has brand-new revelations. The ending is more of a gut punch than ever
do you think the karous booklet is going to make the story less confusing or more confusing, because I'm betting on the latter

element of ending scene only made clear by an illustration in a postcard handed out at TGS. there was a sample of the illustration online but the actual postcard had a subtle but crucial difference (iykyk)
After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.

I don't know which of my kouhais need to hear this, but because I'm seeing this in a ton of commercial J>E game locs: you really shouldn't retain quotation marks in the same places as the Japanese source text 9 times of 10, especially outside dialogue. Punctuation parity in general is often sloppy.

even scientific stuff can have phrases that can't be neatly translated because of differences in how the concepts are taught in different countries. patents in chemistry might mention the term 結合手 meaning the point at which a bond can happen (either a spare electron or a need for an electron)

business translation is in an odd sort of place because on the one hand, the big multinational corps are the ones that can actually afford to spend money on translators, but on the other hand those same corps are always trying to cut their costs
