Ok, but it seems like you got to somewhere good in the end

I don't think that is the kind of thing people regret

I've only heard of a spoonful of cod liver oil as a punishment for Victorian children... but let us know if it is nice

Yes, it's powerful and I'm glad to see it

Not sure about the cod liver, but the mackerel sounds good

Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”

Do we call it a Singapore base though? Or is it still an American base?

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

google wants to introduce errors into my spreadsheets and attribute them to me
screenshot of a popup on Google Sheets with two buttons "Learn more" and "Got it"

header reads "Gemini can now do more for you in Sheets" with "for" scribbled out in red, and the word AS above it, so it says "Gemini can now do more AS you in Sheets"

below that:
Gemini can now make requested changes and insert content directly into your files.

HIGHLIGHTED TEXT: All inserted content will be attributed to you in version history.

For inline features like =Al), Gemini will insert content directly. For the side panel, Gemini will provide a preview first unless it understands your goal is a direct edit, such as making a pivot table or adding conditional formatting.
Gemini in Workspace can make mistakes, including about people, so double-check responses.

This has nothing to do with crime. This is an attempt to crush political dissent.

Never before, in our entire 250 year history, has the military or immigration agents been used like this. It's dystopian, illegal, and it should stop.

Swapping out your grass for drought-tolerant plants is good for the environment, but it can be costly. LADWP's recently launched Landscape Efficiency Assistance Program can help you do it for free.

Dr Oz: "We have an advantage with AI. You know why? We don't think the way fraudsters think. That's just not what our minds do. The bank managers don't think about bank fraud. They want to do loans and help businesses. Fraudsters think about fraud. So the AI can think the way a fraudster thinks."
