The arrangement is not that unusual. When a foreign government buys U.S. fighter jets it’s normal for them to receive training here. They typically have their own dormitories. Don’t be surprised to find that their maintenance personnel are already in training.

This really is not the time to spew BS, as F’d up as our political divisions are the people working there did not go to work this morning to die. Peace be with the families in the knowledge that their loved ones likely did not suffer. Hopefully a sound investigation will be conducted.

U.S. District Judge April Perry is now questioning DOJ lawyer Eric Hamilton about the National Guard deployment. She starts by noting the 14 CA troops, 200 TX troops and 300 IL troops.

But she asks if those numbers could increase, and whether the troops could go elsewhere in Illinois.

Unbeknownst to most or long forgotten is that on October 8 and October 10, 2023; Hamas offered the same deal that’s being pitched as Trump’s “Gaza Peace Deal” which would have handed all hostages over to Israel in exchange for Israeli troops not entering the strip, Netanyahu refused the proposal.

In the Samaria Gorge on the island of Crete, Greece, lies a very deep cave with a continual cold spring waterfall. To reach it, you have to swim about 100 meters in 10 degree (C) water. I spent time thinking about hypothermia I was so cold. Nice payoff tho.

Walls of the cave direct you to a small bright opening in which a cold mountain spring falls to bright turquoise water.

Along with Denali Mountain and Bryce Canyon, this is the most majestic place I’ve ever been.

My teeth rattling even as I could stand in only waist deep water kept me from fully enjoying it,, but no chance I was missing this just for some discomfort.

It seemed to get progressively colder tho so this is about as close as I got. In later days I’ll post a shot looking back thru the caves. The video I took is really the best indicator of the beauty here but I dunno if I can post that here or not. I may try in the comments later today.
