I have been traveling and today I present to you...the thing I saw in the Frankfurt airport.

Is it efficient? Undeniably. Does it probably work better than the normal way? Oh certainly. Produce less of a mess? Probably?

But the existence of Condiment Udders gives me a deep, aghast disquiet.

British Airways to resume Airbus A380 service on London (LHR) to Dallas (DFW) route from May 21, 2026.

Qantas will also operate Sydney (SYD) to Dallas (DFW) with the A380. DFW will receive two concurrent A380 operators for the first time in 10 years.
The shipyard here in NH/ME is a huge employer, and they're all unpaid now, too. Lots of foodbank action going on. At least no one is missing heating oil yet, but that'll come soon enough. Not good at all.

DLD 555: The Earl of Global Services

A major milestone crossed, so what's next? Plus one airline calls it quits and another is making major moves in that direction, while others are expanding and refreshing.

Quote of the night (so far): "Trail mix typically has two ingredients, M&Ms and disappointment."

And then a discussion about carob chips as a substitute and how terrible that is as a life choice.
Fozz gets his 4MM on United tonight. That's GS for life.

We're celebrating in the Polaris lounge pre-flight, and Ted is coming along for the ride.

How about a game? 4 cities, 4 skylines - can you name them all?
Probably minimal chance of rebooking anyone to an alternate flight by the time it got back on the ground. So all those pax will just be accommodated in the same plane once fixed and the crew gets its rest.
