Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary."

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

Professor of Climate Change Tim Lenton @exeter.ac.uk describes tipping points cascades.

Coral reefs appear to be doomed.

AMOC collapse will both freeze and superheat UK, and halve wheat and maize globally.

Positive tipping points, eg death of oil & gas from policy are essential for survival.

This virtually all because of Green pressure. There are 59 Labour MPs in London out of 75 MPs. The Greens are now polling as the number 1 party in London, and above Labour nationally with under 50s. The Greens have been vocal and untiring on this issue, and Labour knows their vote has collapsed.
The two child benefit cap is the biggest single driver of child poverty.

It imposes hardship on kids, ignores changing family circumstances - and as the research shows, has no impact on family size.

Labour were forced to drop it - because people fought for it.

Pressure works!

Today we’ll get latest net immigration figures - They’ll show immigration for work is plummeting.

Why is this not part of the discussion on Rachel Reeves balancing her books & stalled growth?

For every 100,000 drop in net immigration, the OBR adds £7bn to the deficit. #r4today

Idk, I'm not convinced by this mansion tax. Tax combined property value, multiple properties, landlords, corporate owned, or adjust for area. Heavily tax sales when these are converted to assets. BlackRock is going to own everything.

Why are so many people laughing at this?? You think that Karoline Leavitt cares that her brother's ex-fiancee is being detained by ICE? She doesn't. This poor woman was grabbed by police while driving to her child's school. This isn't a lol gotcha.

UPDATE - ARRESTS

Arrests are so slow so far that after two hours only a handful of around 150 peaceful sign-holders have been removed from the pavement.

Prepared for the long-haul, the foil blankets and chocolate biscuits have come out. #Terrorism

All Labour has to offer is "nothing will ever get better, accept decay under us in place of rot from them." They nakedly have no motivation other than their own careers. They have no vision or values.

They offer no future and so they have no future.
Honestly, I think some centre-left criticisms of Green policy are fair. But if Labour keeps alienating its natural supporters the Greens will become more viable, more progressive policy experts could start gravitating towards them, and their policy offer could gradually become more compelling.
tbh Polanski seems to have avoided most of the big MMT heffalump traps (allowing that "inflation doesn't go higher" was a misspeak), I'm relatively impressed at whoever's advising him.

This was a set up by the Sun and now she's referring to it in Parliament. Because she's a Murdoch servant.

Where are the "they'll suddenly stop being right wing when we vote them in, which you're obligated to do" people! Come back! Tell me how you're justifying this
Watch as Rachel Reeves brands Greens leader Zack Polanski a 'keen hypnotherapist'

Tonight I received a full page lecturing DM from a man I've never had any interaction with in our local nature group, intoning me me about photography. I hadn't replied to him, I didn't know who he was, yet he felt entitled to do that and 'educate' me (incorrectly of course). I'm so fed up of this.
